Soul Satisfaction

Jesus said, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.” To hunger and thirst means to be desperate, to be starving, to feel like your life is slipping away; to realize your urgent need for help.

Have you ever experienced this in a spiritual sense? Have you ever been so shook up over your sinfulness that you felt desperate for a solution – that you hungered and thirsted for a solution?
Have you ever sensed the greatness and the depth of your need for a righteousness that you know you don’t have in yourself?

Have you ever longed to be free from the guilt of sin? Do you passionately desire to be free from the captivating power of sin? Do you long for a day when you can be in a place where there is no sin?

Good news! Jesus says that hungering and thirsting souls will be satisfied in Him.
